The design of these plaids and cushions was crafted by Studio Hermès, drawing inspiration from an Hermès advertisement that debuted in the May 1929 issue of Vogue, showcasing travel accessories. The striking, shaded H from the original visual has been preserved and rendered in vibrant, bold color variations. The name H Riviera subtly references the rise of sunbathing in the 1930s.
